Roadways and Highways in Dharwad

Dharwad is connected via State Highway KA SH 1, spanning 450 kilometers which passes through other districts in Karnataka like Kalghatgi, Padubidri, Karkala, Agumbe, Thirthahalli, Anandapuri, Hangal, Tadas, Belawadi, to name a few.
National Highway which passes through Karnataka and also connects the entire south, also passes through Dharwad in the form of National Highway 4 or NH 4. It connects Dharwad and Hubli with Pune and Mumbai in Maharashtra and Bangalore in Karnataka and other cities as well. It’s a 4 lane carriageway and facilitates easy conveyance and transportation between cities and also aggravates trade and investment as well as infrastructure.
